Description

This cozy Apple Pie Dip with Cinnamon Tortilla Chips brings all the best flavors of fall into a shareable, dippable dessert! Sweet cinnamon-spiced apples are cooked into a soft, luscious dip and paired with crispy, buttery cinnamon-sugar tortilla chips. It’s easy, crowd-pleasing, and perfect for Thanksgiving, fall parties, or just a cozy night in.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Apple Pie Dip:

  • 3 medium Gala apples (or any firm, sweet apples), peeled and diced

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (to make slurry)

For the Cinnamon Sugar Chips:

  • 6 small flour tortillas

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Make the apple dip: In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and vanilla. Cook for 6–8 minutes until apples are tender.

  • Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for another 1–2 minutes, until thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.

  • Prepare the chips: Brush both sides of each tortilla with melted butter. Cut into triangles and arrange on the baking sheet.

  • Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Sprinkle evenly over tortilla wedges.

  • Bake chips for 10–12 minutes or until golden and crisp. Let them cool slightly—they’ll crisp more as they cool.

  • Serve the warm apple pie dip with fresh cinnamon chips for dipping!

Notes

  • Use firm apples like Gala, Honeycrisp, or Fuji for the best texture.

  • Feel free to double the chips—they’re seriously addictive!

  • Add a pinch of nutmeg or allspice to the apples for extra fall flavor.

  • The dip can be made ahead and gently reheated before serving.

  • Leftover dip? Spoon it over pancakes, oatmeal, or vanilla ice cream!
