  • Author: Lily

Description

Baked Boursin Salmon – Creamy, Flavorful & Perfectly Baked is a delicious one-pan recipe where salmon fillets are topped with herby, melt-in-your-mouth Boursin cheese, then oven-baked until perfectly flaky and tender. It’s a simple, elegant dinner that’s fast enough for weeknights but fancy enough for guests!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

  • 1 (5.2 oz) package Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • Zest and juice of ½ lemon

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

  • Cherry tomatoes or asparagus (optional, for roasting alongside)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly oil a baking dish or line with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

  • Season salmon: Pat fillets dry and place skin-side down in the baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic, and lemon zest.

  • Top with Boursin: Break Boursin cheese into chunks and distribute evenly over each fillet.

  • Bake: Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily. For a golden top, broil for the last 1–2 minutes (watch closely!).

  • Garnish and serve: Squeeze fresh lemon juice on top, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Works beautifully with other Boursin flavors like Shallot & Chive or Cracked Black Pepper.

  • Want to go dairy-free? Use a vegan herb cheese alternative.

  • Add cherry tomatoes, sliced zucchini, or asparagus to the pan for a built-in veggie side.

  • Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers store well for up to 3 days.
