  • Author: Lily
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 wraps 1x

Description

These Caesar Salad Shrimp Wraps feature marinated shrimp, fresh romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and creamy Caesar dressing, all wrapped in a soft tortilla. Ideal for a quick lunch or light dinner, they are both satisfying and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup croutons (optional, for crunch)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Ensure every shrimp is well-coated with the seasoning.
  2. Let the shrimp marinate for about 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld beautifully.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated shrimp to the skillet in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
  5. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside to cool slightly.
  7. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce and halved cherry tomatoes.
  8. Add the Caesar dressing and toss until well coated.
  9. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the salad and toss gently. Add croutons if desired.
  10. Lay a flour tortilla flat on a clean surface.
  11. Place a generous scoop of the Caesar salad mixture in the center, leaving space at the edges.
  12. Add a few cooked shrimp on top of the salad.
  13. Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards, then roll from the bottom up, tucking in the filling as you go.
  14. Repeat for the remaining tortillas and filling.
  15. Cut each wrap in half diagonally for presentation. Secure with a toothpick if desired.
  16. Arrange on a serving platter and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
  17. Serve with extra Caesar dressing on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • Customize the salad ingredients by adding avocado, cucumbers, or bacon bits for extra flavor.
  • For a smoky flavor, skewer the shrimp and grill them on a barbecue instead of pan-frying.
