These Cinnamon Roll Muffins blend the classic flavors of cinnamon rolls with the ease of muffins. Soft and fluffy, they are filled with a sweet cinnamon-sugar mixture and topped with a simple glaze, making them a perfect treat for breakfast or a delightful snack. - 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1–2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar. Whisk until well mixed.
- In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently fold together until just combined.
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Add nuts if using.
- Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease with cooking spray.
- Fill each muffin cup about halfway with batter.
- Sprinkle a generous tablespoon of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter in each cup.
- Top each muffin cup with more batter until they are about three-quarters full.
- Optionally, sprinkle a little more cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with 1 tablespoon of milk until smooth. Adjust consistency with more milk if needed.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled muffins.

- These muffins are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for a few days or frozen for later.
