Ingredients
-
1½ lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
2 tbsp olive oil
-
3 tbsp butter
-
4 garlic cloves, finely minced
-
1½ cups heavy cream
-
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
½ tsp Italian seasoning
-
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
-
Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
-
Season the chicken: Sprinkle chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Let marinate in olive oil and a pinch of Italian seasoning if time allows.
-
Grill the chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook chicken in a single layer for 3–4 minutes per side or until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
-
Make the sauce: In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
-
Add the cream: Pour in heavy cream and stir well. Bring to a gentle simmer.
-
Finish the sauce: Whisk in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Let simmer for 4–5 minutes until thickened slightly.
-
Combine: Return chicken to the pan and stir to coat in the creamy garlic sauce. Simmer together for 2–3 minutes.
-
Serve and garnish: Top with chopped parsley and a pinch of red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot!
