Description

Enjoy crispy Chicken Bacon Wraps filled with creamy cheddar and cream cheese, all wrapped in savory bacon. Perfect for a hearty dinner or as a crowd-pleasing appetizer!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the chicken breasts on a cutting board and pound them to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch.
  3. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture over the chicken breasts.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until well blended.
  5. Spread a generous spoonful of the cheese mixture over one side of each chicken breast.
  6. Lay two slices of bacon side by side, slightly overlapping. Place a chicken breast, cheese side up, at one end and roll it up in the bacon. Secure with toothpicks if necessary. Repeat for remaining chicken breasts.
  7. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  8. Place the chicken bacon wraps seam side down in the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until the bacon is golden brown.
  9. Move the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  10. Remove from the oven and let the chicken wraps rest for about 5 minutes.
  11. Slice into bite-sized pieces or serve whole, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • These wraps pair well with a fresh garden salad, roasted vegetables, or creamy mashed potatoes. Consider adding a dipping sauce like ranch or barbecue.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) or in the microwave.
