- Optional: 1 scoop protein powder
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir everything together thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well-incorporated.
- To the wet mixture, add the rolled oats. If you're using ground flaxseed, chia seeds, or protein powder, add them in now as well. Stir vigorously until all the oats are thoroughly coated and the mixture starts to come together.
- Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and M&M's candies until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Once chilled, remove the dough from the refrigerator. Take small portions of the dough (about 1 to 1.5 tablespoons) and roll them firmly between your palms to form compact, round bites.
- Place the rolled bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate. Chill them for another 15-30 minutes in the refrigerator before serving.
