  • Yield: 8 pieces 1x

Description

Enjoy these delicious Garlic Parmesan Cheese Bombs, featuring flaky biscuit dough filled with gooey cheese and brushed with savory garlic butter. Perfect for appetizers or snacks, they bake to a golden perfection and are best served warm with marinara or ranch for dipping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and pull apart the dough into individual biscuits (about 8).
  3. Flatten each biscuit slightly on a clean surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. In a medium bowl, mix together the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese until well combined.
  5. Place 1-2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  6. Fold the edges of the biscuit over the cheese filling and pinch to seal, ensuring there are no gaps.
  7. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, dried Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  8. Set aside about 1 tablespoon of the garlic butter mixture for brushing on top of the cheese bombs.
  9. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  10. Place the filled biscuit dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  11. Brush the tops of each cheese bomb with the remaining garlic butter mixture.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up. Keep an eye on them to prevent over-browning.
  13. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  14. Transfer the cheese bombs to a serving platter and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.
  15. Serve warm with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper flakes to the cheese filling or garlic butter.
  • Experiment with different cheeses like cheddar, gouda, or pepper jack for unique flavors.
  • Fresh herbs like basil or oregano can enhance the flavor profile.
