Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and pull apart the dough into individual biscuits (about 8).
- Flatten each biscuit slightly on a clean surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese until well combined.
- Place 1-2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture in the center of each flattened biscuit.
- Fold the edges of the biscuit over the cheese filling and pinch to seal, ensuring there are no gaps.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, dried Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
- Set aside about 1 tablespoon of the garlic butter mixture for brushing on top of the cheese bombs.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Place the filled biscuit dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
- Brush the tops of each cheese bomb with the remaining garlic butter mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up. Keep an eye on them to prevent over-browning.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
- Transfer the cheese bombs to a serving platter and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper flakes to the cheese filling or garlic butter.
- Experiment with different cheeses like cheddar, gouda, or pepper jack for unique flavors.
