- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until evenly incorporated.
- Cook a small amount of the mixture in a skillet to taste for seasoning and adjust if necessary.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Open the can of crescent roll dough and unroll it onto a clean surface, separating it into triangles.
- Gently stretch each triangle to create more room for filling.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of the meat and cheese mixture in the center of each crescent triangle.
- Fold the corners of the dough over the filling, pinching the seams to seal.
- Place the assembled bombs seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
- After baking for about 10 minutes, brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the tops of each bomb.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let the bombs cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet.
- Optionally, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley for garnish.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup, ranch dressing, or spicy aioli.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the filling by adding vegetables or different spices to suit your taste.
- These bombs can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking. Just add a few extra minutes to the baking time if baking from frozen.
