Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cans of refrigerated biscuit dough (16.3 oz each)
- 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)
- Cooking spray (for greasing the pan)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Open the cans of biscuit dough carefully.
- Cut each biscuit into quarters using a sharp knife or kitchen scissors.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the quartered biscuit pieces with garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Toss until well coated.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat or in the microwave in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Once melted, remove from heat and stir in half of the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Set aside the remaining Parmesan cheese for later.
- Generously spray a bundt pan with cooking spray.
- Layer the biscuit pieces in the bundt pan, drizzling some of the buttery mixture over each layer. Repeat until all pieces are in the pan.
- Pour any remaining butter mixture over the top.
- Sprinkle the remaining grated Parmesan cheese over the assembled dough.
- Place the bundt pan in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes.
- Carefully invert the bundt pan onto a serving plate and gently shake to release the monkey bread. Use a butter knife to loosen edges if necessary.
- Serve warm, best enjoyed fresh out of the oven. Leftovers can be reheated.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider mixing in some cooked bacon bits or chopped green onions with the biscuit pieces.
