This savory Monkey Bread features buttery biscuit pieces coated in garlic, herbs, and Parmesan cheese, making it a perfect pull-apart treat for sharing at gatherings. Enjoy it warm for a delightful twist on a classic favorite!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cans of refrigerated biscuit dough (16.3 oz each)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)
  • Cooking spray (for greasing the pan)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Open the cans of biscuit dough carefully.
  3. Cut each biscuit into quarters using a sharp knife or kitchen scissors.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the quartered biscuit pieces with garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Toss until well coated.
  5. In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat or in the microwave in a microwave-safe bowl.
  6. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in half of the grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Set aside the remaining Parmesan cheese for later.
  8. Generously spray a bundt pan with cooking spray.
  9. Layer the biscuit pieces in the bundt pan, drizzling some of the buttery mixture over each layer. Repeat until all pieces are in the pan.
  10. Pour any remaining butter mixture over the top.
  11. Sprinkle the remaining grated Parmesan cheese over the assembled dough.
  12. Place the bundt pan in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
  13. Remove from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes.
  14. Carefully invert the bundt pan onto a serving plate and gently shake to release the monkey bread. Use a butter knife to loosen edges if necessary.
  15. Serve warm, best enjoyed fresh out of the oven. Leftovers can be reheated.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider mixing in some cooked bacon bits or chopped green onions with the biscuit pieces.
