Description

Enjoy these Grilled Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers, featuring tender marinated chicken grilled to perfection and topped with melted Parmesan and fresh parsley. Perfect as a meal or appetizer, they are easy to make and bursting with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces, about 1 to 1.5 inches in size.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Whisk until well blended.
  3. Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and toss until fully coated. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or longer for enhanced flavor).
  4. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes. If using metal skewers, skip this step.
  5. Assemble the skewers by threading the marinated chicken pieces onto them, leaving space between each piece.
  6. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  7. Place the chicken skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally for even cooking.
  8. About 2-3 minutes before the chicken is done, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the skewers to melt slightly.
  9. Check for doneness with a meat thermometer (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).
  10. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  11. Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the skewers before serving.
  12. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!

Notes

  • For more flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
  • Customize skewers by adding vegetables like bell peppers, onions, or cherry tomatoes.
  • If grilling in colder weather, consider using a grill pan on the stovetop.
