Description

Mozzarella Popper Stuffed Mushrooms are a delightful treat that combines the gooey goodness of mozzarella with savory mushrooms. Perfect for any gathering, these cheesy bites are sure to impress your guests!

Ingredients

  • Large button or cremini mushrooms
  • Fresh mozzarella cheese
  • Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • Fresh jalapeños
  • Cream cheese
  • Crispy bacon
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms gently with a damp paper towel to remove any dirt. Carefully remove the stems and set them aside, creating a hollow space for stuffing.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped mushroom stems, cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, cooked and crumbled bacon, diced jalapeños, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  4. Take a spoon and fill each mushroom cap generously with the filling mixture. Press gently to ensure they’re packed in well.
  5. Arrange the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  6. Once done, remove the mushrooms from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. They’re best enjoyed warm!
