- 4 large eggs

- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 package (15.35 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
- Extra Oreo cookies for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and crushed Oreo cookies.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel and let it sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.
- For thicker cookies, chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches of space between each.
- Optionally, press a half Oreo cookie on top of each dough ball.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the edges are set and the centers are slightly soft.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve the cookies as is or sandwich two together with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
- Sprinkle leftover crushed Oreos on top for decoration.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
