Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce
  • 68 strips beef bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1012 ounces mozzarella cheese (fresh mozzarella pearls or small cubes)
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 count) or 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing (for serving)
  • Fresh chopped chives or parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your chicken: Cook raw chicken breasts in a pot with water or chicken broth for 15-20 minutes until cooked through. Shred the chicken and mix with buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook and crumble the beef bacon: Cook beef bacon strips in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-8 minutes. Remove and crumble into small bits.
  3. Preheat and prep your workstation: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lightly dust your work surface with flour.
  4. Assemble the bombs: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles. Place a piece of dough on the work surface, add a mozzarella piece, spoon buffalo chicken mixture over it, sprinkle crumbled beef bacon, and seal the dough tightly around the filling.
  5. Bake to golden perfection: Place the assembled bombs seam-side down on the baking sheet and bake for 12-18 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Serve and enjoy: Let the bombs cool slightly before serving with ranch or blue cheese dressing and garnish with fresh chives or parsley.
