Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, uncovered, allowing chicken to finish cooking and flavors to meld. Remove from heat and stir in 2 tablespoons cold, cubed unsalted butter until melted and incorporated. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. -
