Ingredients
Scale
- Crescent Roll Dough
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1–2 tablespoons fresh herbs (basil, parsley, or oregano) or 1 teaspoon dried herbs
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Open the package of crescent roll dough and unroll it onto a clean surface, keeping the pre-scored triangles intact.
- In a small bowl, combine ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 1-2 tablespoons of your chosen fresh herbs (or 1 teaspoon dried), and ¼ teaspoon garlic powder. Mix well until everything is evenly distributed.
- Taking one triangle at a time, place about a tablespoon of the cheese and herb mixture at the wider end of the triangle. Gently roll the dough towards the point, enclosing the filling as you go.
- Melt a couple of tablespoons of butter and brush it over the tops of the rolled crescent bites.
- Place the filled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and puffed up.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
