Christmas Morning Bellini Recipe
Ingredients
Here’s what you’ll need to create this Christmas magic:
Prosecco: A sparkling Italian wine that’s light and bubbly.
Peach purée: Sweet and smooth
this is the base of your Bellini. You can use store-bought or blend fresh peaches.
Cranberries: For garnish and a pop of red color.
Mint leaves: Fresh and vibrant
they enhance both aroma and appearance.
Sugar rim: Adds a frosty
sweet finish to your glasses.
Tools You’ll Need
Champagne flutes or stemmed glasses
A shallow dish for the sugar rim
A spoon or cocktail stirrer
A blender
if making fresh peach purée
Ingredient Additions & Substitutions
No Prosecco? Use Champagne
sparkling cider, or a non-alcoholic sparkling wine for a family-friendly version.
Fresh Peaches Out of Season? Swap for canned peaches or store-bought peach nectar.
Extra Flair: Add a splash of cranberry juice for a slight tartness and a deeper color.
Instructions
Prepare the Glasses
Pour a bit of sugar onto a shallow dish. Wet the rim of each glass with water or peach purée, then dip into the sugar to create a sparkling sugar rim.
Pour the Peach Purée
Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of peach purée into the bottom of each glass. Adjust the amount to your preferred sweetness level.
Add the Bubbles
Gently pour chilled Prosecco over the purée, filling the glass to just below the rim.
Garnish
Drop a few cranberries into the glass and tuck in a fresh mint leaf for a festive flourish.
Serve Immediately
