Ingredients

  • 1 can 12-13 oz refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing included)
  • 2 eggs
  • cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp butter for cooking
  • Maple syrup or cream cheese icing for serving

Instructions

  • Cut the Cinnamon Rolls: Slice each cinnamon roll into four bite-sized pieces. Set the icing aside for later.
  • Prepare the French Toast Mixture: In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  • Dip the Cinnamon Roll Pieces: Coat each piece in the egg mixture, ensuring they are fully covered but not overly soaked.
  • Cook Until Golden: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tbsp butter. Add the coated cinnamon roll pieces in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, flipping occasionally, until golden brown.
  • Serve & Enjoy: Drizzle with warmed cream cheese icing or maple syrup. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with fresh berries.

Notes

  • Don’t soak the cinnamon roll pieces for too long—just a quick dip is enough!
  • If you prefer extra crispy bites, cook them a little longer for a caramelized exterior.
  • The cream cheese icing can be microwaved for a few seconds to make it easier to drizzle.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave for a soft texture or in the oven at 350°F for a crispier finish.
