- 12 oz pasta fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup milk
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning optional
- 1 cup cooked chicken or shrimp optional
- 1 cup sautéed mushrooms or spinach optional
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Cook the pasta – Boil in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
