Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp ketchup optional
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough Grands-style
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced (or ½ tsp garlic powder)
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned and cooked through. Drain excess grease.
  • Season beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and stir in ketchup (if using). Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheese. Let cool slightly.
  • Separate biscuit dough and flatten each round into a 3-inch circle.
  • Add 1–2 tablespoons of beef mixture to the center of each circle. Fold dough around filling and pinch to seal.
  • Place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden and puffed.
  • While baking, mix melted butter with garlic.
  • Remove bombs from oven, brush with garlic butter, and sprinkle with parmesan. Garnish with parsley if desired.
  • Let cool slightly and serve with your favorite dipping sauces!

Notes

  • Don’t overfill the bombs—they seal easier and stay tidy with just a spoonful or two.
  • For extra flavor, add a slice of pickle or dab of mustard inside before sealing.
  • These reheat beautifully in the oven or air fryer!
  • Want to switch it up? Try ground turkey, plant-based crumbles, or different cheeses like Swiss or pepper jack.
